Today we are going to show the simplified whole process of making metal parts by lost polymer casting method with 3d printing of our photopolymer resin XD-K12107. STEP 01: Transform the three dimensional graph into space grid structures by a professional software.
STEP 02: 3D print the prototype by using the casting resin XD-K12107
STEP 03: Embed the 3d printed prototype in liquid plaster , and after the plaster solidifies, burn it in a furnace under high temperature. The plastic prototype will be burnt out, and there is a mold hole left within the plaster. Pour the melt liquid metal in the plaster and finally we can get the object as seen in the picture :
